I was trying to find out how many stingray related deaths there are per year, and found a few statistics, probably not very reliable, but you get the idea.
Fatal stingray attacks on humans are exceedingly rare. Only two have been reported in Australian waters since 1945
According to statistics, there have been only 17 stingray deaths recorded worldwide.
And now two stingray related deaths within a year and a half? I'm starting to think that there is a band of pirates wielding stingrays as weapons with some personal vendettas.
Think about it man.
